Texas Missions
This is the front of my favorite mission, Mission San Jose in San Antonio, Texas. The balcony casts a large shadow, causing the sculptured doorway to really jump out at you. I love all the textures in this building. This painting is featured in the September, 2002 issue of American Artist Magazine. It also won awards in the 2000 National Watercolor Society Juried Exhibition, plus awards in both the 1999 Southwestern Watercolor Society and the 2000 Associated Creative Artists Award Show.
